Sixteen grandmasters, among the top players of the world, will challenge the title of the World Rapid Championship 2003 which will be held in Cap d'Agde, France, between the 23rd and 30th of October 2003. The organizer of the championship is Caisse Centrale d'Activités Sociales des Electriciens et Gaziers de France (EDF-GDF), the national company for Gas and Electricity.
